Close your eyes and picture this....Long-eared, short-legged, drooling machines waddling around some city blocks in the Brookside district of Kansas City, MO. Some are wearing hats, some are wearing scarves, all are having fun and most are milking the crowd.

Due to the sale of the land that the Fairground Buildings were located on we are not able to host a whole waddle weekend. The fairground should be relocated by 2008 so keep all pawsies crossed that McWaddle weekend 2008 will be bigger and better than ever!

 

Here's the long and short of it (no pun intended):

Where: Kansas City, MO in the Brookside community

Meet at the corner of 65th & Wornall (across the street from the tennis courts)

Why: To support Basset Rescue!

BassetsRus (formerly Mid America Basset Rescue) concentrates primarily on senior and special needs Basset Hounds. We do still rescue a youngster or two. And we work very hard to find them permanent, responsible, loving homes.  In the future we hope our fundraising can grow in order to assist some of the smaller Basset rescues that are unable to hold large events.
