Bassets owners that live in the mid-west (in particular KS, MO, NE, and IA) may contact us and we will list your Basset on our website to help you try to place your Basset. Please keep in mind it is really to the benefit of your Basset to stay with the people that he's known. If you must relinquish your Basset please let us try to help you find him a home while still in your care. 

Email the following information to bassadormom@q.com

1) At least one current picture (up to 3 pictures, each no larger than 250 kb)

2) A description of your Basset's personality, likes, dislikes, etc. 

3) Information on level of training is useful when placing a hound.  Is your Basset house-trained, crate-trained, doggy-door trained, been to obedience school, walks well on a leash, etc.

4) Your contact information (email &/or phone number) that you want published on the website. 

Once I receive your hounds biography and pictures I will do my best to expediently post the information to the website.  Please remember that I will be essentially cutting and pasting the description you provide.  The owner is responsible for the information being accurate, for all communications with potential adopters, and for placing your hound in a new home.  Once your hound has a new home please email me so that I may take their description off the website.  If you have the means and would like to provide a nominal donation to BassetsRus, through paypal (Sales@mabr.org), or to your local humane society for this service that would be wonderful.  Thank you!
