Gravity&Snickers

My name is Gravity. I'm not sure how I got that name but I'm trying to think of a new one. Do you have any suggestions? I think I need a rough and tough and "manly" name because I'm a tough guy! Just look at me...my face say's it all!! I managed to survive in a very abusive home and am looking forward to a life full of TLC, fun and happiness. I got these scars when I was kicked in the head by my former owner. I have lots of scars that you can see and many more that you can't see. But I'm still a loving Basset and would make you a great companion. I was rescued with my good friend Snickers and would love to stay with her or go to a home with another dog.

My name is Snickers and I was rescued from an abusive home along with my pal Gravity. I am very attached to Gravity and would love to be adopted with him. But if we must be separated I'd be happy to go to a home with another dog. I am quiet, shy and I will probably need some help adjusting to my new life. If you give me a little time and TLC I will be your best bud.

Shortly after Gravity and Snickers were featured on Bassets RUS's webpage they were adopted. They have settled into a good life with their new Basset sister, Molly and have gotten new names. There new foodslave, Penny writes:

"They are absolutely wonderfull!!!! I don't know how to thank you for taking them in when they needed a safe place. Snickers, now known as Mazie is just so tiny and so ornery!!! I can't get over how much energy she has. Gravity, now known as Max is such a lover boy. I can't go anywhere without him following me. He doesn't want to miss out on anything."
